Brilliant! I watched every moment. I always knew our extensive collection of Disney videos was entertaining. I just never found the “hidden” content. (-:
So…are they getting away with it or is Disney going to sue?
The video just went online at YouTube on May 18. It has already had more than 100,000 views.
It was created by a professor at Stanford working with Lawrence Lessig. I would say they know enough about fair use to be safe. But as the video says, fair use is not a right. It is a defense. Nothing is stopping Disney from suing. Time will tell.
Kind of fitting, considering that Disney is the foremost authority on US copyright law, having written it and all.
