I have recently began using a software package called ProPresenter which is an amazing piece of software. It has an iPad and iPhone app to control it as well as an amazing stage app for the iPad that is designed for the musicians or speakers. It's very dynamic and very configurable. We used plain old power point for may years but it just doesn't cut it anymore if your in a very dynamic environment. It definitely allows for a much more free flowing service.
