I’ve been exploring the capabilities of Artificial Intelligence lately, specifically testing what’s possible with Google’s Gemini. As an experiment, I decided to see if I could build fully functional, web-based video games without writing the code myself.
The result? Trusty AI Arcade.
I am excited to share a collection of browser-based games that were created entirely using Gemini AI. From the logic and mechanics to the design elements, AI did the heavy lifting. It’s a fascinating look at how accessible game development has become, but more importantly, it’s actually fun.
I’ve set up a dedicated hub where you can play all of them right now. Here is what you’ll find in the arcade:
- Gemini Tetris: A neon-infused take on the classic with ghost positioning and next-piece previews.
- wAIrdle: A word-guessing challenge generated by AI.
- Tower Ascent: A physics puzzler where precision is everything.
- Arcade Classics: We’ve also got fully playable versions of Centipede, Snake, Asteroids, Space Invaders, 2048, and Pinball.
Compete for Glory: To make things interesting, I’ve included a Leaderboard system. You aren’t just playing against the computer; you’re playing for the top spot against everyone else visiting the site.
Go give them a try and see if you can beat the high scores. It’s a pretty cool testament to what can be built in 2026 with the right prompts and a little curiosity.
